Approaching the Turner Contemporary where we have come to see the Grayson Perry exhibition - Provincial Punk. The photograph taken just outside the gallery shows a commission entitled A Newington Story by artist Leandro Stafford developed through an existing project the gallery was involved in with Newington Big Local and People Unite, with young epople from Newington Youth Centre in Ramsgate. The artwork seeks to create a new narrative for Newington, by encouraging local people to contribute responses based on their own views and experiences of Newington, Send a comment
