Installation by Stuart Middleton. Made from used clothing that has been stitched together into a continuous ream of fabric. This is stretched around a crude wooden frame that narrows through a series of curved passages. It's gut-like shape replicates a 'Livestock Management System' from a working slaughterhouse. This architecture uses the animals natural defensive instinct to circle as a means of control, gradually funnelling the herd down into a single file without alarm. Send a comment
